Internal alterations, extension and refurbishment of Grade II Listed private house, in which much space was freed up in the compact cottage, by forming an all new stairwell external to the principal building structure, retaining the historic character of the home whilst at the same time creating larger more usable internal spaces. An unusual bathroom arrangement was designed with a central bath feature in the form of a sailing dinghy and built by a local shipwright.
